With 45+ years of truck driving under her belt, Ingrid Brown is a legend in the industry. She first started driving trucks for her dad's construction company when she was 18. Since then, she's driven in 49 states, been a leading voice in the Women in Trucking Association, advocated for CMV Safety, worked with FMCSA, and has even judged truck beauty contests.

Her latest rig, a Peterbilt Model 589 named "Blood, Sweat, and Tears" stands out from the rest. Decked out in 'Pull Me Over Red' paint, chrome accents, and playing card themed graphics, this truck turns heads on the road and even from the sky! She pulls a custom color-matched reefer trailer behind the 589. Brown runs the rig for Blackjack Express LLC out of West Memphis, Arkansas.

The truck was a surprise for Brown. In 2024, Brown planned on taking her 389 to Peterbilt's Pride & Class invitation-only parade in Texas. She just returned, after helping with the disaster relief effort following Hurricane Helene, when Blackjack's woner, Bryce Carlson, and General Manager, Allen Small, revealed her new 589. When Brown realized the extent to which they had put thought into it, how far she'd come, and what the 589 meant, all she could do is just sit in the dirt and cry. Fittingly, "Blood, Sweat and Tears" became the Peterbilt 589's name.
