The Bristol 406 was introduced in 1957 and had completely new styling which lacked the rounded looks of its predecessor. It was the last Bristol to employ the well tried 6 cylinder engine, albeit in modified form, before American V8 power took over. The same basic body design with subtle modifications would last through to the 411.
