Designed by W.O. Bentley, the Lagonda two-and-a-half litre was hailed as a very advanced design. With the transmission mounted within the depth of the chassis frame a flat floor was possible, the floor unit of the body being attached to the frame. A saloon and drop-head coupe were available with bodies manufactured by Briggs.
